I flew through this book in about 24 hours - and really enjoyed it, gets an 8 from me for the genre it is playing in. A charming British romance novel that took me right back to my twenties, but is not a book with a ton of depth or meaning.

🛌THE FLATSHARE – BETH O'LEARY⠀ ⠀ ✨ En español este libro se llama PISO PARA DOS – BETH O'LEARY ⠀ ⠀ This book was one of my favorites. It was a fast read and also an enjoyable one. The author shaped the characters in such a profound and relatable way that it made me think about my friends. Also, somethinh I enjoyed about this book was that there were a lot of movies, pop culture, books and TV series references making the reader feel it is part of the plot. Every chapter left me wanting more because there is no closure until the end of the book. ⠀ ⠀ The main character Tiffany is modern and relatable. Heartbroken, she starts to rebuild her life and rediscover herself with a little help from her friends: Mo, Rachel and Gerty. She has a complicated relationship with herself, an ex-boyfriend and too many people around her. I have to admit that she is a Gilmore Girl fan which just made me love her even more. ⠀ ⠀ Parallel to this story, later to be intertwined, Leon is an odd and funny character. I have to say I got annoyed with him sometimes but grew to love his big heart. He is responsible for his family, and when faced with money issues he decides to rent his one-bedroom flat (apartment) to someone… part-time. Guess who? Tiffany!⠀ ⠀ A lot of things get thrown in the mix for them to make this peculiar situation work. This book is a must-read for me, and I can’t wait to continue reading from this author. Check out her new book The Switch, even better.
