It is just so good! 👏🏼 Really, that I can read this as a 7 year old child and again as an adult, and it still holds the same captivating energy and without lack for deep words/ tone. It shows that children's writing can be full bodied and doesn't have to be so simple an adult is bored. It's a beautiful skill to write one thing for all ages. ⭐ Every night I'm rereading these books and it is SO hard to go to sleep because I'm gripped!! 🤩 it got me good Also impressed with how many words or phrases I wasn't familiar with. Love love love the depth to this writing and this world, how it can be read simply or analysed further. And love to be reminded of what is changed for the films. Also impressed how much happens in such short a book. Kept looking at pages left thinking: how could all this happen? The writing is full and concise. 🤔 Though I do keep thinking about how Voldemort couldn't have gotten the stone without Harry being there anyway... but trying to reason that out of my mind! Except for that.. Brill. So glad I'm reading again 📚 "There are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them."

No matter how many times I read this book it doesn’t get old. Would 100% recommend. Even if you’ve watched the films and think you don’t need to, the books are far far better!
