A troubled young mother yearns for a shot at redemption in this heartbreaking yet hopeful story from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover. After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter's life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself. The only person who hasn't closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna's daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna's life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them. The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing.

NO WORDS JUST NO WORDS Colleen Hoover never disappoints. The book got me hooked from the beginning and lemme tell you I cried throughout the book. Yes Ik the FMC was at fault cuz m angry why she didn't call someone for help and left Scotty to die. However that somehow justifies that CoHo makes the characters so realistic. Yes we all have flaws but that doesn't mean u can't or don't deserve a happy ending and happy life

Enjoyed the plot of the story and felt it moving at times. Just felt that it was a easily predictable ending which just lose a few marks from me.

Differs to Colleen’s typical style, but the plot elements make up for it. A wholesome, heartfelt novel that will leave you laughing through your tears, wanting more.

This book is by far one of my favourite books ever. Colleen Hoover never disappoints. Every time I feel myself getting into a reading slump, or I want to get out of a reading slump — I know where to go. Reminders of him has the most beautifully heart breaking story, and the way Colleen Hoover writes brings the whole plot to life even more. 110% recommend any, if not all, of her books; especially this one (if you’re into heartbreak and crying until your eyes burn.)

This book was an emotional rollercoaster and it touched on difficult topics really well. Colleen Hoover has done it again, I fell in love with these characters straight away and read this in one go. LOVE.

I think it’s nearly impossible not to rate a CH book either a 9 or a 10 because they just hit the mark. Every. Single. Time. This was such a rollercoaster of a novel. I looked getting to read both Kennas and Ledgers perspectives and the development of Ledger slowly feeling sorry for Kenna. The ending was perfect!

Sad but sweet love story. Well written, you feel you know the characters. A heart wrenching reminder of how lives can be turned upside down in an instant.

This woman never fails to surprise me with original plots. I’m still waiting to read a book of her that I not enjoy. Nevertheless, I believe this book is not for everyone and you have to be an open minded reader in order to put a side certain aspects for you to be able to view the full potential of the story.

Bestseller Hoover (Layla) explores repentance and forgiveness in a contemporary romance that’s sure to tug on readers’ heartstrings. After five years in prison for the involuntary manslaughter of her boyfriend, Scotty, Kenna Rowan is ready to reunite with her and Scotty’s four-year-old daughter, Diem, who was taken away from her immediately after the birth. She has almost no money, no job, and a rundown apartment, and her parental rights were terminated after Diem was born, making their reunion an uphill battle. With no support from her own estranged mother or contact with Scotty’s family, who took Diem in, Kenna has a long way to go to start over. While working to find her bearings, she meets Ledger Ward, the owner of a local bar—and Scotty’s best friend. Though the odds are against them, they can’t deny their growing attraction or the lingering guilt they both feel about Scotty’s death. With Ledger at her side, Kenna works toward healing herself, reconciling what both she and her daughter deserve for a brighter future. Hoover delves deep into grief and guilt to create a multifaceted redemption story for a cast of characters who fight as fiercely as they love. Fans won’t be disappointed.
