Zita was born into a wealthy and aristocratic Hungarian family early in the 20th century and became a successful stage and film actress. Details her marriage to Lewis Gielgud, serving in World War 2, the birth of her daughter Maina and her subsequent role as a ballet-mother, her short second marriage to Lewis' life-long friend Nigel Sutton and her role on the staff of UNESCO. Noel Pelly practised as a solicitor during the 1950s and then entered the world of arts being administrator of The Australian Ballet from 1983 to 1990.
