This movie was the one that got me all the way into live action superhero movies and especially Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine had me blown away when I was younger (and today I can’t see anyone else play that role). Yeah there are all the Batman and Superman movies but this was the beginning of a new live action superhero movie era if you ask me.

This movie isn’t perfect, but man there were so many great parts. This movie helped springboard the modern day superhero movie by staying true to the comics while presenting it for the world to see in a different way. I will always have a soft spot for this movie. My largest complaint with this one is simply the lighting. I feel like this film is so dark throughout the entire film and that takes alway from so many of the great parts such as the costumes, the faces of the actors, the sets, and more.
