👁️Netflix

Enjoyable return to the world of Tolkien. The scene with all the food right at the beginning is so entertaining and Martin Freeman makes a very lovable Bilbo 💕

The Hobbit, I mean what can say ! I always wanted to binge watch the whole series. I've heard so much about it that I had to watch it. I mean what a fantastic masterpiece it is. From the amazing direction and screenplay to outstanding casting and acting. From the holy mind blowing visuals to suttle and smooth plot twists and character development and psychology behind it. Truly surreal experience it was. But because it was the first part where the journey begins actually it was good but like boring form a general audience perspective. But was totally worth it considering how awesome the next part of the journey will be. Totally a worth watch. Watch this gem before you die absolutely amazing.

The Hobbit series is a bit hamstrung by how amazing the Lord of the Rings trilogy was. It never stood a chance to be as good, didn’t have as deep a mythology or story, and a lot of the environment and characters had already been established by the earlier trilogy. But it’s an honest and enjoyable return to Middle Earth.

Close enough to Tolkien's story that it brought the book to life. At that, it went too far to that of a "grand storyline" with additional antagonists that were not only unnecessary but strayed from the simplicity in the adventure of Bilbo, Gandalf, and the dwarves. I wish it had followed the book and left it at that. Soundtrack and visually it was stunning though.

All the 3 movies are exceptional. I watched them 4 or 5 times and I still remain fascinated every time I watch. Must see!

Peter Jackson did a great job with the trilogy and stayed true to Tolkeins vision but he strayed too far with the hobbit series. I felt like he was milking it by trying to make it too epic. It was a good story but he overplayed it.

Es ist Hobbit. Eine 11,5/10! Mehr brauche ich nicht zu sagen!

Casting was brilliant but an over reliance on CGI made this very messy
