Ein sehr berührender Film, der zeigt, wie grausam die Todesstrafe sein kann und was für eine Folter das ist, wenn man diese auch zu unrecht verhängt bekommt. Einfach genial gemacht.

A Tom Hanks hidden gem, seeing Hanks in this role differs a lot from his reputation in romantic comedies and feel-good family flicks. The Green Mile provides a spectacular blend of fiction and morale that it displays pure human nature and innocence as the forefront themes m. A tear jerker for sure.

My reviews are starting to look like I’m biased for Tom Hanks movies. I can neither agree or disagree to this statement. The green mile isn’t your typical run of the house prison movie. This picture has so much heart and soul in alongside the gritty-ness that it’s practically a work of art. Chuck a bit of magic and a giant in there and you could call it a matured Disney movie. The camera work is better than movies made today, character building and introductions play a big role and are very well written and by the end I was sobbing like a baby. If you don’t mind looking through my love tinted glasses for Tom hanks then go ahead and give this one a go.
