Great kids movie. But the opening scene is here the money is at. I watched the premier some 25 years ago just to catch that opening scene (and song) on the big screen.

Great story. This film is not only meant for kids but also for adults. Outstanding music and animation. Featuring the understanding of Simba and his father Mufasa were extraordinary. Dialogues play a major role in this film. Voice for the characters made this film more realistic especially for Mufasa.
