9I've not been a fan of mad max but this movie production made me awestruck, the story is grippy and those action scenes are seriously great! It's a must watch I would say.

10Miller has created an instant classic with MM:FR. Gorgeous to look at, and very much in keeping with the aesthetic feel of the originals. Theron shines in this.

10I absolutely love this film to death. Charlize Theron stole the show for me with her mysterious traumatic past and her will to free the women who feel imprisoned. The war boys and max are great as well George Miller is fantastic behind the camera.

9Only the mad survive. Modern live-action, post-apocalyptic mastery comes in the form of Mad Max: Fury Road, the widely-acclaimed blockbuster film of 2015. Many consider it the most prominent action film ever to make it onto the silver screen. And how right they are. Set in the farthest, starkest desert-landscaped reaches of planet Earth where humanity has been shattered and humans grow crazy about fighting for life’s necessities, this film is wonderfully told and displayed. Each character, scene, costume, magnificent set design, and great cinematography fire on all cylinders in tremendous fashion to make this a film deserving of countless viewings. Though many may argue that the film is nothing more than a caravan chase through desert ruins, it’s the exhilarating action, realistic and effective special effects, unbelievable stunt work, cunning cinematography, and unforgettable set design that set it apart from most action movies of today and the decade as a whole, in my opinion. This is not to say, however, that there aren’t emotional, personable moments between the characters along the way in this solid narrative. There are for those who can’t handle the raw action of the film, and long for some personal acting. Speaking of acting, there are many great performances in this film. For instance, there are powerful performances from the excellent Charlize Theron (as the tough Furiosa), and the exceptionally talented Tom Hardy (as the silent, rough-and-tough, yet sympathetic Max Rockatansky) to name but two. So what if the original Mad Max (Mel Gibson) doesn’t star in this film? Although the original films are classics in the cinematic world, this film is still excellent and impactful, even without his presence. Simply put, Mad Max: Fury Road, as stated previously, is one of THE greatest action film to ever make it to movie theater screens. A film experience you will never regret, this movie comes highly recommend and suggested.

9I watched this twice in the cinema and any time it’s on telly. A high octane road movie that keeps you gripped. Fantastic characters, great commentary on our society and feminist as hell. Also Tom Hardy.
