This movie is a wonderful movie and have taught me many lessons. Miguel as the main character wanted to reach his dream but he realize that he can choose both his dream and his family. It is true, for there is nothing more important than family and our memories is what keep them alive. This movie will forever change people heart and song will also. Remember Me is a wonderful song and has great impact on people. Disney always comes out with great movies mostly about togetherness and love. Thank you disney and the creators of the movie as it as change my thinking about my family. NOTHING IS IMPORTANT THAN FAMILY.

I did not know what to expect, and was so surprised! Very original story and the graphics are superb (especially the spirit guides and the whole “beyond” environment)!

Soundtrack is great and really gets you into a creative mood. Little sad in some places but still a good film. Plot is great and visually pleasing. Enjoy

As a lover of all things Spanish. I was quite impressed at the delicacy Día de los Muertos was addressed. The casting was good, and the story was satisfying despite the ‘twist’ villain Disney/Pixar did for the 100th time that decade.

MoviePass movie number 20 was Coco, an animated Pixar release. The story follows Miguel, a young Mexican boy who yearns to be a musician......except for the fact that his family totally rejects music due to some family history. The story takes place on Dia de Muertos, the Day of the Dead. Miguel is inspired by Ernesto de la Cruz, "the greatest musician ever". One thing leads to another and Miguel ends up stealing Ernesto's guitar.....which ends up placing a curse on his family and he sent to the Land of the Dead. He has until sunrise to fulfill something or Miguel will spend the rest of his existence in the Land of the Dead. First and foremost, this is a beautifully animated film. The graphics and the colors were eye popping. Since I saw this with MoviePass, I could only see it in 2D....one of the drawbacks of the system (no 3D or IMAX films). I think it would be wonderful in 3D. The Land of the Dead is an amazingly computer animated place. The artist Frida Kahlo shows up in a scene or two. She is trying to produce a huge musical production number.....and her vision is SO Frida Kahlo it's hysterical. One of my favorite parts of the film. The movie places its main focus on family and keeping alive the memories of those who have passed on. It may even make you tear up a little. The only drawback to the film is that there is a 20 minute Olaf/Frozen Christmas short before the movie. I had read that the audience reaction had been quite bad and that they were going to remove it from screenings this week.....but I guess I wasn't so lucky. I know this is going to come as a shock, but I have never seen Frozen and there are times I feel like the only American who hasn't. I know the characters, but that is about it. So.....I lost interest in this short right away. In fact, I actually nodded off during it. Olaf was being chased by wolves....or something.....and then the next thing I knew there were credits rolling. If you aren't into Frozen, see if you can check out if the short is being played before your screening of Coco. If it is, you can show up twenty minutes late. Trust me....you aren't missing anything. A beautiful, colorful movie that shouldn't be missed. Coco.......not the Olaf one.

Una de mis películas animadas favoritas con todos sus colores y música creo que la representación de ese México antiguo que nos hacen recordar a nuestros abuelos fue buena
