Keller Dover faces a parent's worst nightmare when his 6-year-old daughter, Anna, and her friend go missing. The only lead is an old motorhome that had been parked on their street. The head of the investigation, Detective Loki, arrests the driver, but a lack of evidence forces Loki to release his only suspect. This film is not at all what I was expecting it to be. It has multiple layers and a deep, well-thought through storyline while also being easy to follow and doesn't get too confusing. It tell the audience didactically what they should know and what has happened. This is refreshing as I feel like a lot of modern films are made too complicated and leave the audience to work it out for themselves, which can be very annoying. The ending will leave you on the edge of your seat for sure. And jake gyllanhalls performance is up there with jarhead and nightcrawler. Everyone should give this film a watch. However. There's two things about this film which makes me hesitant. 1) Hugh jackmans acting was a tad off. It seemed like he was trying to show a character who looked and acted like Walter White, while also sounding and having some mannerisms of jack sparrow. You can understand why these two don't go well together, creating a character which hugh jackman portrays in this film. Its a weird blend but what do I know about acting. 2) the maze. For people who have already seen the film, you should know what I'm talking about. There was strong messages and symbolism of a maze in the film, particularly from Bobby but this was just left and didn't mean anything in the final third act of the movie. I'm questioning whether this is deliberate and its supposed to make us think or whether they just forgot about it and abandoned the idea. Overall great movie, I would absolutely recommend for an interesting, gripping story of a kidnapping spiralling out of control. - 8.5/10

The story was nice and was moving in a normal speed and the twist was little predictable
