It was a good movie, both Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale do a great job with their characters. However, the twist was not that hard to see coming.

Much like most of Christopher Nolan’s films, The Prestige is a film with twists and turns that keep you on edge until the very last moment. It centres around two arch-nemeses that work as Magicians in London. Borden (Christian Bale) and Angier (Hugh Jackman) continually try to upstage each other in their tricks - both in spite and attempt to attain infamy and greater recognition. In this film, we see the lengths the characters will go through in their greed for fame and success, suggesting that the line between ambition and obsession is quite blurred in the grand scheme of things. Angier is portrayed as the more Machiavellian protagonist, fueled by a personal vendetta, whereas Borden appears to be more subtle and clever in his illusionist ways. The brilliant cast, director and cinematography make this Psychological thriller very exciting and captivating to watch.
