The defense and the prosecution have rested and the jury is filing into the jury room to decide if a young Spanish-American is guilty or innocent of murdering his father. What begins as an open and shut case soon becomes a mini-drama of each of the jurors' prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other.

An old one but a classic, it's interesting how everything changes and how they get your perspective to change a bit as the movie progresses

If you want to know what a good script and top notch acting can do within a confined boundery of a room, this is it. This movie will get to your nerve. Cult classic thriller movie, never gets old.

A fantastic look and both the dark and light of human character. It really holds up a mirror to a lot of our prejudices and keeps you thinking. It should be required watching for all those going in to jury duty!
