Esta actuación de Gyllenhal merecía una nominación al Oscar, por lo menos nominarlo! Otra de las películas que considero tostada.

Very well made and thought through film. Some very gripping and engaging scenes which make the film memorable. E. G: the climax and the house recording after home invasion. Crazy stuff. Theres one thing that I have about this movie which makes it an 8 and not a 9 for me. The opening scene. The guy straight up just kidnaps a cop and that is just never revisited again. Not once in the whole 2 hour length. I kept coming up with scenarios in my head throughout of how the opening would link to whichever bit I was in the film but it never happened. Jake gyllenhall delivers an outstanding performance as a textbook sociopathic, success crazed lunatic which you learn as the films go on. I probably would never watch this film again unless maybe its on TV or something I don't know. Very interesting film - 8/10

This film was not at all what I expected going into it, but the performance of Jake Gyllenhaal absolutely blew me away. The lengths to which his character goes in order to become “someone” is insane. His relationships with other people is very strange and very similar to a serial killer.

Jake Gyllenhaal is extremely convincing in this role, and I love the combination of a thriller with dark satire, and the commentary the movie makes as well.
