I watched this movie in English class in school after reading the book, and I remember it as being one of the best movies I ever saw in school!

I was really late to the party watching this film. Apparently everyone did this in Year 7 English but I’m sure I did Private Peaceful instead. Anyway, I’m glad I watched this for the first time at 25 as it shows it was an all round entertaining film for all ages! I can also understand why they teach it in school as it includes topics such as friendship, justice and also has 2 headstrong female leaders in the warden and kissing Kate Barlow!
