5Gets ok for maybe 30 mins towards the end which bumped up my score a little but ultimately it’s pretty poor and I feel sorry for anyone who paid to watch it

7Overall the movie is watchable. The concept is intriguing and the first half is set up well. If you have no blockbusters to watch give it a try. Keep in mind it's no cinematic masterpiece, but it's not as bad as the reviews are saying.

4Because of Anya’s incredible presence in this film, I ended up watching Emma and Queen’s Gambit. Watch those instead of this boring final whimper for the Fox X-Men franchise

7The final entry of Fox’s X-men franchise before Marvel’s takeover, The New Mutants offers a look into some of the mutants less known to the general public, which sadly do not get named in the movie. I personally think the cast is great, with a great emphasis on Anya Taylor Joy’s performance. Sadly, it’s script and storyline leaves much to be desired. Still worth a watch if you’re a long time X-men fan.

6I didn’t hate it. I’m just glad it finally got released and was watchable. Also….dream bear.
