Aside from this clearly being Joshua Tree vs Palm Springs - this was an excellent feel good movie, not too cheesy, perfect amount of laughs. Russian Doll vibes as the characters are stuck in a perpetual do-loop.

Super entertaining - the name makes it sound like it’ll be horse shit, but Andy Samberg is awesome in this - story is nuanced and clever - a lot of laugh out loud moments. Edged a 9

How come I haven’t watched this earlier? What a great and funny movie! I’m borderline 9 on this one. It’s like a modern version of Ground Hog Day, but more silly and funny! It has a great mixt of being funny, dark and romantic! It also had a few real belly laugh moments 🤣 Perfect movie for a chill night with your special someone 😍

A Groundhog Day-esque movie, Palm Springs offers humor and adventure with a dash of romance sprinkled in between. The on-screen chemistry of Cristin Milioti and Andy Samberg is palpable and engaging. Pacing of the movie was pretty good as well. Overall, a great watch during these trying times.

In the times when there's a renewed wish to read Orwell's dystopian novel 1984, or watch that movie or other movies like clockwork orange that depict complete pandemonium (Infact whats also a part of sentiments these days are sci-fi movies on contagion), I chose to watch Palm Springs. Nothing to do with the international film festival, the movie turned out to be an insanely clever romantic comedy! It made me fall in love wild the idea / concept / theory / scheme / feeling of "Love" again. I wanted it to be longer so that I could just watch more of it and more of Andy Samberg & Cristin Milioti. Their conversations are engaging & the sparks between the 2 of them were galvanic. 'The life of Brooklyn 9-9', Jake Perolta has turned out to be sucha fine actor! And I did not watch HIMYM till the end to see the ancillary character - Cristin Milioti's (The Mother's) introduction unfold and that's why I underrated her as an actor all uptill now. Both of them deliver super sassy performances! Borrowing the idea of time loop from other artworks, yet Palm Springs contains shades of originality & weaves a fresh spin on the subject. With the journey, starting with a wedding reception in Palm Springs, that goes through multiple wake up shots in bed everyday to live in a world of no consequences, the protagonists hitting the beers while lounging on the pool floats, they spotting the mystical dinosaurs together on a starry night, thumping on the EDM in a bar while performing a crazy badass duet, the iconic kissing scene in the cave, going for long drives only to take a different turn each time; the movie was infinite miles far away from humdrum. It wasn't dull even for a split second. A very well written story is metamorphed into a feel good movie with flamboyant colors and it exceeded its own elements of expression as it kept me glued for the entire time. Palm Springs is an incredibly fun & a whacky chase movie! It's a must watch for anyone who's in love or hopes to be in love.

We have all seen the time-loop story before but this on is absolutely hilariously brilliant! I wish Andy Samberg made more movies!

A funny and a bit dark spin on Groundhog Day. Andy Samberg is perfectly cast for his role, and Cristin Milioti was great.
