This is not a good sci-fi movie, it starts off with a good idea that goes nowhere and ends badly, it ends like episode one of a TV series?! With Russian and sometimes Japanese films I find it hard to relate to/understand the motivations of some characters, they say and do sinister ugly things for no apparent reason, there's no real arc or resolution, no depth, just confessing or owning upto things that have no relevance to plot! Iam clearly missing something, cultural?

Great movie. The Extraterrestrial element is fascinating plus connection between a human's thought and activity with an Alien being. Damn

The lone survivor of an enigmatic spaceship incident hasn't returned back home alone-hiding inside his body is a dangerous creature.

Effective space alien horror with a Soviet-era twist, Sputnik proves there are still some scary good sci-fi thrillers left in the galaxy.
