MADS MADS MADS MADS, what a night. We travelled to London to see it at the BFI and it was worth the journey. I loved the film, tears and laughter. The acting was great and you feel every characters journey. Edit: this has just made a 10 after reading about the film and just how much emotion was poured into it by the entire cast and crew. I would recommend reading this after. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.indiewire.com/2020/12/thomas-vinterberg-another-round-greatest-tragedy-1234603452/amp/

Very funny movie. Shows four high school teachers that want to test if you become better able to handle things with a .05 of a percent alcohol in your blood. It is both funny and serious. You laugh and cry. I recommend you go see this movie. It’s certainly worth an evening

Fuldstændig VIDUNDERLIG film! En rutschebane af rang, som hiver en igennem alle tænkelige følelser. Vanvittig sjov, rørende, barsk og bare et all around mesterværk. Thomas Vinterberg gør det igen

Finally made it to US streaming and our new feature with prices made it easy to select 🙏 Typical Danish slow moving movie, with a focus on life’s small moments. A great cast - always like me some Mads Mikkelsen! The movie is sad, sweet, tragic and cute all at the same time and I think that’s what makes it special. It’s showing how alcohol can make you live life a bit more, but also it’s terrible consequences! I think this is one of those movies you will enjoy more in memory than during watching it because it has some great life lessons! I will remember this one 😃

The premise is, well, silly, and the plot isn’t as linear as some traditional films are. But where it thrives is through punch drunk characters struggling with ennui, a lack of purpose, and reconciling the gaps between their modern accountabilities and their fading sense of youthful excitement. Worth the accolades, and worth taking a few minutes to think about as the credits roll.

Finally got to watch this Danish Oscar nominated movie 🍻 Really liked it! 2 things I was wondering while watching it: - Is the whole 0,5‰ theory a real thing? I guess it could be, it does sound quite interesting and don’t we all feel a little bit more alive on two glasses of wine? 🍷 - Does non-Danes think that this is an exaggeration or extreme representation of the Danish drinking culture in high schools? Let me know! 🍺

I was happily surprised! This movie touched on many emotions. It was funny, sad and thought provoking! Haven’t we all needed a little help sometimes to take the boredom and/or sameness out of every day life? Four friends, all school teachers , find out that with a certain level of alcohol life perks up! All goes well until it gets out of hand.

Loved this movie. The acting is on point. Clearly this must be a leading candidate to best foreign film at the oscars.

What starts out to be a fun experiment takes a couple of dark turns. I enjoyed it even though I had to read throughout the whole movie.

A beautiful film, that’s charming but tinged with sadness. It was a little slow and downbeat for me, but I enjoyed watching the window into Copenhagen everyday life.

A very typical Danish and very entertaining movie. You can laugh a lot, it's sad and it also teaches you some lessons. The movie doesn't only manage to remind me of some good old adventures but also makes me wanna go out and have a great time with my friends! The music perfectly fits the mood of the movie and the ending is just perfect. 10/10 I can recommend it to everybody over 16/18/21 and especially if you also like to drink from time to time.

Really interesting film capturing the highs and inevitable lows of alcohol. I thought they captured the friendship between these middle-aged men wonderfully - giddy in reliving their youth and often missing the communication on serious matters. Side note : Denmark looks great fun and wonderfully boozy 🍻

Terrific movie. Mads is phenomenal. For those who aren't fans of foreign films, this may not be to your liking. I thought the character development was great, but the climax and rising action were abrupt and slightly drawn out with an ending that quite honestly came out of left field (Martin's wife text) in my opinion. Otherwise, a very enjoyable watch

Leaves you with a weird taste of culture revolving around alcohol, and certainly provides food for thought. Laughed my butt off several times - amazing movie!
