This movie failed in all departments. Costume and Visuals are mediocre. The Lesson, Plot, and Philosophy is nonsensical and forced. It clearly pandered to the feminist movement. The acting is horrible aside from Nick Fury. Action and Cinematography is almost embarrassing if compared to the standards MCU set. The other characters had no purposes but to make CM look good and strong, but still she failed that department as well. Bad script and lead act choice.

Much better than I expected. Great story, funny and exciting. A great addition to the Marvel universe!

Really enjoyed this Marvel movie! The plot is well thought out, not too difficult to follow and has some exciting twists and turns! Brie Larson does a phenomenal job as Captain Marvel and really like how they adjusted the character to fit a female lead!

controversial opinion, I actually like this movie. But they kinda did her character dirty, love Brie Larson playing her though

Didn't like it. Originally Capt America was a man. Confusing

I really liked this movie and brie does an excellent performance if it seems confusing just see the universe in chronological order do not get confused I loved that we could see Fury before being FURY is also the first movie to introduce us to the Skrulls close up and I think they did well

Worst Marvel movie ever made and Brie Larson is fucking annoying

I was tricked into watching this film since I thought it would be critical in order to understand Avengers Endgame. In case you are wondering you can absolutely skip it. Brie Larson has zero charisma and is zero convincing as a superhero. The plot and script also don't help the situation. The highlight of the movie is they bring Clark Gregg back as Agent Coulson. I would have much rather watch a buddy cop type movie with Clark Gregg and Samuel L Jackson. That would have been way better. Overall the MCU has been very good, but I guess they can't all be gold. I cannot believe that Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow did not get a solo movie before Captain Marvel.

Good flick. Great production. The plot was lengthy and very cohesive. I also really enjoyed the sets. The time travel aspect dating back circa Chicago or NYC mid 70s to mid 80s was pretty on point. I enjoyed the acting and the diversity in characters.

.Saw it in theaters, forever ago. I had a blast and walked out happy. Never really thought of it, kinda forgot about it, just knew it was kinda hated on for weird reasons I felt were unjustified, but I hadn't watched it enough to defend. My opinion was "fluid" Not anymore! This is great! It landed well with me this time. Really well. (with some help from Em @ Verbal Diorama https://www.podchaser.com/podcasts/verbal-diorama-803268/episodes/captain-marvel-37588665 ) The action is great, the music (soundtrack and score) is even better, Brie is a lot of fun. You can tell her and Jackson are having a great time. The idea of identity and being told who we are and what to do with emotions is something for all of us, male or female. In addition to a great message about confidence! Again I had a blast! Even better the second time. So what if she is OP just fix it later or whatever. We trust you Kevin, just keep bringing us great fun! The Basement Binge Podcast: https://basementbinge.podbean.com/e/captain-marvel-mcu-infinity-saga-phase-3/

Great movie that shows female strength and empowerment. Underrated.

I hate the superhero but I love the movie. Love the skrulls and young nick fury. The story is fantastic.

The story is just kind of forced. It’s good that everyone knows who she is but it was sooo late, they should’ve put it in the first phase

I don’t get why people hate this film so much it’s so good. I really enjoyed it it’s definitely more than 6.8

This movie was such a disappointment. Especially because of the quality I’ve come to expect from Marvel. She has such a flat and boring character and there are lots of inconsistencies in the story. Is she super weak, or super op? I still don’t know.

With all respect i believe they could cast someone better

Brød mig ikke rigtig om den. Men måske det fordi jeg virkelig ikke aner hvem hun er, og hvad hendes historie er.

Captain Marvel is a winner on all fronts, offering an exciting, engrossing standalone story while putting its stamp on the overarching MCU saga.

I’ll rate every MARVEL production a 10 if I could. Anything the MCU has to offer will always raise brows can’t wait for more episodes of Captain Marvel.

Packed with action, humor, and visual thrills, Captain Marvel introduces the MCU's latest hero with an origin story that makes effective use of the franchise's signature formula.

This movie would be good if they focused more on the characters than the power of the characters

One of my favourite marvel heroes comes to live on the screen, great and powerful movie about one of the most powerful hero. So great that she was able to make it into the MCU before endgame because she was a big help in that movie. Even though many people hate her, Iron Man would not be able to snap everyone else back if it was not for her saving her in space at the start of the movie. AMAZING ORIGIN STORY!!! For her and for Nick Fury.
