About the movie
Cal Weaver is living the American dream. He has a good job, a beautiful house, great children and a beautiful wife, named Emily. Cal's seemingly perfect life unravels, however, when he learns that Emily has been unfaithful and wants a divorce. Over 40 and suddenly single, Cal is adrift in the fickle world of dating. Enter, Jacob Palmer, a self-styled player who takes Cal under his wing and teaches him how to be a hit with the ladies.

Wow I cant believe I actually thought I didnt like this movie back in the day. I rewatched it and adored the hell outta it!!!! Such a great watch 😍 Ryan Gosling is really growing on me lately, used to hate his movies but not anymore

- recommend to me by jewels - it was cute but nothing super special - i loved when everything came together, it was great - funny, sweet, good movie to watch with friends wouldn’t necessarily recommend to others unless they like movies like this (i don’t particularly but i still think it was cute don’t get me wrong) wouldn’t watch again
