Well it’s finally here. The third film directed by Jordan Peele, and yet again, it’s brilliant. The depth he brings to his films is something genuinely incredible and I can’t wait to see him continue his directorial work! Daniel Kaluuya is awesome as always! He plays this intelligent, quiet, and stoic man very very well, something I feel we hadn’t seen him do until now. Steven Yeun is also a blast, my only complaint is that we saw too little from him! When it comes to Keke Palmer, I feel she was the weakest link of this entire film. Her acting didn’t ever feel real to me, and is seriously the only thing preventing me from giving this a 10/10 currently.

Peele's streak continues with his third film and man what entry this was. With that being said please do not go into this movie expecting a lot of bodies, action set pieces, or a horror movie for that matter. This movie is a science fiction slow burn that takes its time to build up tension in every way. I feel like if you go in with the right expectations you will enjoy yourself. The only complaint I have is a character's death that felt random and unnecessary. Other than that this is absolutely amazing original movie. Unique ideas, themes, cinematography and a wonderful execution, this is what summer blockbusters should be.

The scariest part of the movie for me was the Gordy scene. It was funny without trying too hard and was highly imaginative and well crafted. Can’t wait to see what peele does next.

Nope is the latest film by Jordan Peele that  shows how compassionate and ambitious he is as a filmmaker/storyteller. Good performances, great cinematography, score, interesting take on the UFO story, and Peele's direction & neat editing/sound mix. Although, no spoilers, the film comes off as Peele's Jaws, it has a M. Night Shyamalan twist. And depending on how you feel about the reveal. I can see some viewers be split on this one. Personally, I didn't matter it at the end. But it seemed predictable at best. Overall NOPE was crazy ride through. Go check it out now when you have the time. I recommend it.

I am NEVER disappointed by Jordan peele’s work I’m always amazed at how he is able to create such fantastic films that leave you with questions even years after it’s been released. The movie itself is not scary but the thoughts you are left with are the imagination you have to use in certain scenes are. I’m sure there’s plenty of meanings that are shown throughout this movie some of the ones I’ve noticed are Not every animal can, should, or wants to be tamed. The one I have been living by my whole life is listen with your ears not your eyes. Overall this movie was fantastic I do not think I’ll be able to look at clouds or chimps the same way If you love to analyze Jordan peele is the one for you

Amazing movie, definitely my favorite one from 2022. I loved the different take on the alien and UFO movie genre, and rather having it be presented as some kind of hungry animal. The acting was also great, they definitely picked the perfect actors for their roles. We absolutely need more POC, especially black, characters in western set media! It was an extremely thrilling and eventful movie that deserves a watch. Will be rewatching it. Another aspect of the movie I heavily enjoyed were the long drawn-out shots, which clearly took skill to master otherwise the actors would’ve had to re-record the same long scenes multiple times, those scenes really showed the actors’ talents. The CGI was also nicely executed. The metaphors between Gordy and the UFO were also a nice aspect, along with the irony of Jupiter’s actions based on his history with Gordy. My only complaint is that I wish they would’ve shown us some footage of how Jupiter’s Star Lasso event was supposed to look like or how the previous shows looked. Nevertheless, OJ hearing Jupiter’s speech from a distance made the entire story that much more eerie, the fear of the unknown. This movie is definitely of my new favorite horror movies! Amazingly executed.

i didnt know what to expect after watching the trailers, but this definitely wasnt it. the first hour and a half is both boring and suspenseful. once the movie decideds to show whats actually going on, the movie loses all the momentum that built up cause its extremely different. its unique as fuck but it couldve been more interesting. i was so lost for a lot of the movie, i totally forgot about most of the events except for the end. it succeeds as a comedy more than a thriller/horror, the ppl in the theatre and myself were laughing out loud because of how great the comedy is placed within the weirdness. it was honestly way too fucking long for this kind of movie. the side characters were also weird asf, they said the weirdest shit, and im sure dave franco wouldve killed the nerdy techn role. confusing, good suspense and horror elements at times, smooth comedy, and a whacky ass jean jacket reveal.

A very intriguing sci-fi thriller with great performances from keke palmer and Daniel kaluuya. The subplot with jup guy can be hard to understand, but still really interesting with great cinematography

A rip off of a movie. Happy endings were something I thought Jordan Peele was trying to break from the traditional formulaic mold with his unsettling previous work.
