I don’t need much to say what I feel about this movie other than 7 words, best comic book movie of all time.

There’s are some scenes that feels slow, but they’re justified. Good construction of story and characters, there is the time for everyone. There are a lot of details related to Batman which you can see on comics and video games.

Pattinson. Never expected a guy from the roots of Twilight , remember me had done a character as radical as Batman. Plot was ok, screenplay was boring, stunning visuals though. Impressed with performances of Pattinson and Selina Kyle. Matt Reeves had done a very good job. Some are comparing with og Nolan trilogy- nope far far away. Would love to have a sequel.

Finally a Batman movie worth watching after The Dark Knight. Accurately captured the comic book Batman. Robert Pattinson nailed the role with his great acting.

The Batman is an incredible take on the character, with great acting, an amazing Gotham city, and a very broken Bruce Wayne. The journey Batman takes throughout this movie while trying to stop riddler was an amazing take on the character, showing us his path from vengeance to hope. In my opinion, the best Batman movie.

Good movie. Keeps the audience on the edge through the movie. Robert Pattinson did a great job portraying Batman.

Making a Batman movie is not an easy thing to do but man, hats off to Matt Reeves, what a gem of a movie he has delivered. The bars were set very high for a batman movie after Christopher Nolan's trilogy and even the likes of Zack Snyder couldn't live up to the expectations during his take on Batman movie but this is different. The plot, visuals and script, everything was simply remarkable and I think this is a point where this movie shows us that there should be more superhero movies in genres like these, gone are the days when superhero movies were liked only because of the heroism of the superheroes, Only kids like such stuff nowadays. P.S Robert Pattinson was remarkable and a perfect fit for the role of "The Batman" for the future too, and Paul Dano had me thrilled whenever he appeared on screen

Best Batman film by far! Only downside is that the Riddler, is a little boring, nowhere near Joker in TDK

Story is great. Very engaging. Acting and cinematography are excellent. Love Catwoman especially. If you are looking for a Batman movie with lots of action this isn't it. If you want detective Batman, this is for you.

At last! A Batman film that doesn’t apologise for being dark and actually taking stories/characters from the comic books “cough” Nolans Bane “cough”. Great references for the fans like bludhaven and teasing Hush. Colin Farrells Penguin is superb, nice to see the character back in Purple! I hope it continues and they are happy to lean into the crazier characters like Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy. I pray that this spells the end for “let’s make this comic book character in the ‘real world’”.

It's good but the relationship between the characters is not very well built and the movie is way too long 3 hours.

Its a great movie just completed watching and loved the acting and also the storyline. Though missed Christian Bale, but the movie is great. I recommend to watch it and yes one suggestion get yourself the brightest screen because the believe me you will need it!

One time watchable. The movie lacks serious screenplay and depth. Color grading and the cinematography were good. Acting, they were nothing to complain but what can they give to outperform a lousy screenplay. Most of character dynamics were soft or shallow.

A really good batman movie.. he's still not that invincible batman but I'd love to see him become that in future movies

theres no way to get around the fact that this movie is painfully boring. its extremely story heavy with so many different gotham characters that dont get good screen time. i only found 2 action scenes that grabbed my attention, but were immediately folded by the boringness after. its like a game of clue, but nobody knows anything about anything. robert pattinson did the same batman stare that every other one does, but he's already given this unnerving glare before in his career. I couldn't get past the fact that edward was trying to read bellas mind behind that mask. the only thing i like about this new batman is the potential of the series. everybody loves joker, and the riddler isnt the worst of batman villans. something in the way.

First batman movie that felt like a detective thriller movie. I think it would have benefited from another draft though. There were small things that would have taken it from good to great. It doesn't help that the Batman fatigue is setting in too. But all in all a good time for batman fans.

A great way to kick off the next Batman series. Definitely felt like the scene was being set for the next movies, so looking forward to what's next. Great cast and good story, but the length felt slightly unnecessary.

Nice to have hero movie that is not about the universe ending if the gem is not put in the magic glove. Pattinson was good and did a better job than I would have thought. 10x better than Aflack pretending to be Batman

Besides R Patz giving us pure Twilight nostalgia. It was an absolute epic film. Its aestetic: neo-noir, dystopian, Sci-Fi with a matching soundtrack really set the tone of Gotham's manic, destructive nature. It was so well filmed, acted and set.

It was great overall, full of mystery and exciting. The Riddler was more ahead of Batman. He is smart as well and that makes the movie fun

📣 Top user review: The Batman is an electrifying dark superhero film and dives into an psychological crime story. Director Matt Reeves takes this film into a whole new dark direction. So dark that every scene seems faded or taking place in a night raining setting. The script and narration in the beginning sets the tone of the film. With Bruce Wayne giving a narrative about how he brings fear that every criminal stays away from the shadows. The film is one awesome superhero film. Watching it the first time may not be enough with so much to digest on what is going on with the depth layer of the story. For a 3 hour run time, the film packs so much that it never once felt long.

A grim, gritty, and gripping super-noir, The Batman ranks among the Dark Knight's bleakest -- and most thrillingly ambitious -- live-action outings.

I liked it and the story was good it had some twist I didn't expect and along with the character I thought they did a good job too. Overall it was good movie hopefully to see more of it in the future.

SPOILER WARNING This is definitely in my top 3 Batman movies for sure. This is a really great way to start out the new Batman era. This I the darkest Batman we've seen yet and I loved it, they did an amazing job. Positives: - The cinematography? *Chefs Kiss - I think Riddler, Batman, and Catwoman all did an amazing job throughout the whole film. Riddler was perfectly insane. - I love the film score in this movie because the songs are recurring but just in different keys. I love it. - I like the darker side of Batman and Bruce Wayne in this movie. Pattinson does a good job of capturing the dark side of Batman and his inner struggle of who he really is. - I like how this explores the beginning few years of Bruce as Batman. The bat signal is rough rather than the refined bat signal we always see when he's more established. - The constant rain foreshadows the flooding later??? Genius. - I think it was the perfect balance of mystery and suspense. We finally got a story line really focusing on the origin story of how Gordon and Batman met and Batman as a detective and vigilante rather than a known crimefighter. - I love how they showed Selina actually robbing someone and cracking a safe, because she is really known as a cat burglar originally. Negatives: - Most movies should not be 3 hours I just can't. Make it two movies. - I need to know if Alfred is ok and I didn't get to see it. - Selina and Annika's storyline was a little weird to me because I couldn't tell if they were together or not. She was referred to as her friend but there was a lot more to it so idk. Overall 4 1/2 out of 5 Stars

It's really entertaining, considering it 3 hours long. I really liked the performance and delivery of the actors but I wasn't a fan of the choice of Bruce Wayne's character. He seemed a lot more inmature, less classy young version of Bruce. I personally didn't like it cause it didn't explore at all Bruce's character.

Finally an actual Batman movie where Batman is Batman and not tony stark going through a depressive episode. *Bonus Feature* Do you enjoy partaking in unhealthy coping mechanisms just like our favourite broody caped crusader Batman? Simple, watch this movie and take a shot every time someone says Jesus/Jesus Christ.
