Heath Ledger's Joker is the best movie charachter I have ever seen by far. Avengers Endgame is great, but The Dark Knight is much better. The best Batman ever! The best Joker ever! The best DC movie ever! The best superhero movie ever!

After Gordon, Dent and Batman begin an assault on Gotham's organised crime, the mobs hire the Joker, a psychopathic criminal mastermind who offers to kill Batman and bring the city to its knees. Batman and Joker, the ultimate classic head to head. Heath Leadger's acting just makes it stored in your brain in a way that whenever you see Joker, you will compare it to this performance. Brilliant watch.

This film is simply a mercilessly bombastic blast. Everything fits here: the staging, the unique dramaturgy, the story. Heath Ledger steals the show from Christian Bale in every single scene he's in. I mean, Dark Knight wouldn't be Dark Knight without Heath Ledger. What the man has delivered is unparalleled in the history of cinema. For me personally, way, way up there in the list of best movie villains ever. I have rarely experienced such unpredictability and such fascination for a character and it remains unsurpassed for me to this day. The Joker in this form is quite simply the perfect antagonist in all respects. He is not a funny clown, but an intelligent psychopath who tries to achieve his goals through his manipulative skills and his spectacular murders. He is always one step ahead of his opponents, he knows this very well and enjoys it in his grotesque, but also cynical way. Every single line in this film is a payoff, and every other quote is worth printing out on a screen and hanging it on the wall. No time for trivia or boredom. And yet so much depth and thought provoking thoughts. This film is a bitter mirror of our society. Its even more action-packed and even darker than its predecessor already was. "If you want to seriously hurt people, then destroy their symbols, their role models, That in which they believe. " The acting performances, the soundtrack, the story, the characters, the images, the sets, it's all just perfect. So perfect, in fact, that it robs the word "perfect" of its meaning.... "You die as the good guy or you live until you become the bad guy."

All 24 Marvel movies vs 3 DC movies (The batman begins, The dark knight, The dark knight rises) and still DC wins the battle. What a movie! What a series. Worth a watch.

Again my boyfriend talked me into watching Batman and after much debate I give in and realized what I’d been missing out on! This movie is excellent - it’s definitely the Darker one of the trio, but Heath Ledger is of course amazing as the joker and the storyline is great.

Hear me out.Alot of people have called this the best Batman film ever made.My opinion is a bit different.I associate Batman with a dark and gritty tone.This film wasn't exactly that dark.Other than that I liked Cristian Bale's acting and the cast featured some of my favorite actors of all time.Other than that I didn't like the costume as much as Robert Pattinson's,but I thought the costume design was incredible.

i love this trilogy so much. But this movie specifically. Heath ledger as the joker was a perfect decision and he does a great job and Bale as Batman easily In my top 2 (next to Robert) The atmosphere of this movie and just everything makes me realise why I love movies <3

9.8. Fantastic. Better then I remember. Action from start to finish. Every actor is phenomenal and plays their role perfectly. Perfect story arch and ending. As close to perfect as a movie can be. You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.

All 3 Christopher Nolan Batman movies are Fantastic, the second one been the best witch is this one. This movie was epic and fantastic in all levels and the 3 one was a perfect closure to a fantastic trilogy. Plqease if you like super heroes movies do not hesitate to watch this movie

Heath Ledger doing almost all the work! God damn legend. I’ve watched this movie many times and I have over the time found out that many scenes in the movie is improvised by Heath Ledger which only makes it even better. Bale is still my favorite Batman but as he himself says; He wishes that he’d have done more compared to Heath’s performance.
