Look, the premise and story aren’t the biggest issues I have with this film. I can’t stand the incredibly cheesy dialogue and terrible acting. There’s definitely tragedy in this story and you aren’t human if it doesn’t tug at your heartstrings at least a little bit. Willem Dafoe does a great job, but I wish his role was a bit bigger. His acting abilities never cease to amaze me, that man is a legend. I do love how Hazel and Augustus absolutely ripped this alcoholic jerk to shreds though, that part is pretty sweet.

love this movie , mas me cry and laugh , mainly cry but it was worth it. they were cute together, they should have lasted longer but unfortunately that’s what cancer does , shortens your time with your loved ones, until the timer the grenade has gone off definitely recommend
