About the movie
Tired of scaring humans every October 31 with the same old bag of tricks, Jack Skellington, the spindly king of Halloween Town, kidnaps Santa Claus and plans to deliver shrunken heads and other ghoulish gifts to children on Christmas morning. Is it Christmas? Is it Halloween? Who knows but I do know one thing. This is a great film to watch in the weird gap or Halloween and Christmas or any time of the year it's just better then

Nightmare before Christmas er for det første utroligt flot lavet. Tænk det er stop- motion og lavet i 1993. Tim burtons univers har jeg altid været draget af , i hvert fald i hans første film men ved gensyn, så synes jeg sgu ikke historien sidder i skabet. Jack Skellington vil overtage julen men synes ikke der er det helt rigtige grundlag for hvorfor - det kommer ikke rigtig frem, så jeg kan forstå Jacks motivation. Og hele slutningen er også lidt tam. Men der er skønne sange i den, visuelle er virkelig flot men fundamentet, som for mig, nærmest altid er historien på den ene eller anden måde sidder ikke lige i skabet, som jeg havde håbet. Da jeg så den tilbage i 93- synes bare Jack var sej, så huskede den faktisk som bedre.
