Familiar revenge storyline with a couple twists and some good action scenes. MBJ is a good action star but I’m still struggling to enjoy his acting.

Decent action but for a Clancy film I felt the narrative was weak. Very very basic and very obvious story. Still, it entertained for two hours.

Good adaptation of the book. Michael B Jordan is a believable action star, but is able to also act. Definitely worth a watch.

Probably one of the greatest opening scenes a movie has ever offered...Super Gritty, definitely a must watch. Perfect tale of what a man would do if you mess with his family!

This film has been getting a lot of hate, and I could totally understand it. However, a generic action/war movie is exactly what I expected and I usually enjoy them quite a bit. This film alongside the exceptional acting of Michael B. Jordan was the exact combination I expected and loved. The action, effects, and score are all great but the lighting is definitely an issue throughout (it’s always too dark).

The interpretation of Michael B. Jordan is the best seen in this movie, it makes it look like patriotism is not what many believe or the government shows it. The film has a lot of action scenes in addition to the fact that it causes the character of John Kelly to be sympathized with the situation in which he is past. Now the film is not 100% based on the novel, so if you are one of the people who read the novel, the film will be quite disappointing, but the interpretation of Michael B. Jordan in the film is what It gives the benefit of the doubt to whether it makes it a good or bad movie, in my case it meets the level of action that the movie should provide.

It was good, it wasn't great. This is not Michael B Jordan's best acting. He can be a bit of hit or miss. In any case, the action was phenomenal, and although the plot is the typical revenge story, it still has a couple of twists and turns. Overall, I thought it was very enjoyable and would like to see a sequel, Rainbow Six, to see how they develop the story and if they can improve.

A really boring story. I started it and couldn’t stand watching it after 15min… maybe I finish it in some time soon, but till then a 5/10 is the only reasonable rating.

Lacked a bit of the reality and authentic feel of Clancy’s early work- a bit superhuman/superhero but it was fun and I like MBJ in this role. Just wish he wasn’t so bulletproof.
