It ends way before it even starts! Even with the short run time of 90 mins you feel bored at times. And all of sudden everything comes rushing. Villian trying to be badass, hero trying to be cool it feels so clumsy. Sure the CGI is good, sure the action is short but decent but after watching so many superhero movies this feels a generation behind. Simple one storyline may workout for debut movies but a sequel should have more stakes and multiple elements. The post credits is everything. The Show Stealer. It makes me excited for sony-marvel future projects. But if sony thinks one post credit scene can pull 90 mins movie, they are mistaken 💯

I was hoping that this would be just as good as the original, and man it definitely feels like it was held to the same standards! So much fun with Venom and Eddie with their absurdity and need for couples counseling! Seeing Venom, Carnage, and Shriek on screen together was something I always knew we needed to see and this film did each of the characters an incredible service! The way the pasts of both Cletus and Francis were told was very interesting and did a great job of establishing them early on in the film. The fights involving Venom and Carnage were amazing with some incredibly strong animation. The score was fitting and a load of fun. And the acting wasn’t cheesy at all. SPOILERS: I cannot wait to see more adventures with Venom, particularly when he joins the MCU, presumably in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)!

The film itself was mediocre, truly the only good thing were the jokes and the acting from tom hardy. He’s just perfect for Venom! The rest was just kinda too weird for my taste, but the CGI was amazing as expected!

5.3/10. It’s a shame how this film turned out, as I was expecting something much more than this. I started to have a bad feeling when knowing the film is only gonna be 90 mins, and unfortunately my concerns turned into reality. The script feels rushed, it almost feels like me trying to gather an essay together to meet a deadline (which might be exactly what happened). In my opinion the visual in this film is better than the first one, and the action is much better done. After credit is probably the best part of this film, hopefully Sony would start the spider-verse and bring out better stories.

Hardy’s Sequel Is Chaotic & Flawed But Fun Venom: Let There Be Carnage delivers some more of what works - Eddie and Venom's dynamic - though everything around them remains quite messy.

The film let you get a connection to the monster, it's not so bad as you thought. It was very weak on his planet but it's having so much fun fighting against the police. There are so many funny moments inside, it connects action with comedy.

I liked the climax the fight between two venoms. Good comedy and action scenes. But according to visuals, this time Marvel not satisfied me. But a good movie according to the simulations and venom graphics.

I just loved the movie very much. Seriously it was just awesome. Great action, average storyline, superbly done CGI, great performance, good story arc. And overall a fantastic experience. Especially the theme song by Eminem and Skylar Grey. Better than any other sci-fi movie ofcourse.

I love Eddie and Venom's relationship. They're like brothers who hate each other but when still loves each other when it comes down to it.

Enjoyed the relationship between eddy and venom. But i think the villain part is somewhere incomplete. To me the villain wasn't that capable. They showed how venom feared the red kind of sybiote but he wasn't that terrifying at all. For me this could be lot more interesting. The post credit scene was dope, finally the spiderman vs venom interaction will be worthy.

It doesn’t have the shine or absurd excess of a lot of Marvel movies, and instead clocks in at a modest 90 minutes. While the quick pace is refreshing (seriously, not all super hero movies need to be 2+ hours), the razor-thin plot line is simplistic at best, and you wonder if some better ideas were left on the cutting room floor. Woody Harrelson mails this one in with a totally lackluster performance, which is a disappointing waste of the best villain in the Venom universe. Overall, the dim-witted humor by a head-munching alien symbiote is the star of the (otherwise forgetful) show.

The ending was easy and lucky for the protagonist. The protagonist did not perform any special skill to defeat the villain, rather he got lucky which seemed convenient for the story. Otherwise, the plot seemed good and engaging

Felt like it could've been better. Good action scenes but a simple and boring storyline to be honest.

I was really hoping to like this movie but I just can’t. It’s way to short paced, carnage was not done right at all, and he was taken down so easily.

It was a nice movie and the acting was on point ... though towards the end it became similar to the first part

A sequel aimed squarely at fans of the original's odd couple chemistry, Venom: Let There Be Carnage eagerly embraces the franchise's sillier side.

I don’t know what I expected but it wasn’t the movie I was hoping for. It felt like it was made just to have something to put the post credit scene into. On the good side Hardy was perfect as always and Carnages animation was fantastic.

📣 Top user review: Venom: Let There Be Carnage is basically more the of the same, so fans of the original will enjoy but the rest of us will have to endure another campy interpretation of Spidey's most threatening foe.

It’s also a watch once, then forget it film. For me it seems the makers got the storyline from a Spider-Man sequel.

It felt so quick, but was so good. I love me a bit of insane Carnage.

THIS FILM IS FRICKINGLY CHEAP and STUPID !!!! Seriously, this movie has one of the basic , and laziest scripts I have seen in any of the superhero films … I jus really hate this film sooooo much tha I wish it was never made.. I was expecting this film to be better than it’s predecessor (I actually liked the previous part) but this turned out to be a messed up shit with a bad story, bad character , development, and less depth .. The only positives I can think of right now is the performances of the cast which was fine, while the most impressive being Tom Hardy ,and the chemistry between Venom and Tom Hardy, was kinda fun to watch , then a very very few scenes .. AnD also the POST CREDIT scenes … That’s it !! 2/5 4/10 🤘

Some good action sequences and unexpected comic dialog from Venom. Marvel took it's usual approach to recent films and added a lot of humour to this, which was great, especially in the beginning. And as you would expect, the visuals were something to behold and really brought venom and carnage to life. Don't get fooled by rating, although it could have been maybe 15-20 minutes longer just to develop its characters a little bit more.

if I was high as fuck at a rave and venom gave a speech at me about how being gay is valid and we should be free I would have been cured of any mental illness. and then following that up with some tentacle porn? instant classic

I thought the soundtrack was amazing and the film had a fantastic plot but it was too short they tried to cover such a big plot in 90 minutes. Loved woody harlleson in this film.

Mediocre addition to the franchise. About as good as the first one, which isn’t saying much.

Good but not great. The latest marvel and DC films all feel lacking in originality at the moment and this I feel follows the trend. Don't get me wrong it's a fun film, Hardy is good but I doubt i would watch this again.
