As Apostle. Set against the back drop of Rome in crisis, General Marcus Vinicius returns to the city from the battle fields and falls in love with a Christian woman, Lygia. Caught in the grip of insanity, Nero's atrocities become more extreme and he burns Rome, laying the blame on the Christians. Vinicius races to save Lygia from the wrath of Nero as the empire of Rome collapses around them.

As Sir Miles O'Hara. Because he refuses to collect rent payments from his impoverished tenants, kindly Irish nobleman Sir Miles Gaffney is in danger of losing his estate. He is forced to sell off part of his racing stable to a wealthy American, who takes along Gaffney's jockey Neil Ross as part of the bargain. When Neil is crippled in a racing accident, Sir Miles and his daughter Sheila sail to America with their prize horse "Dark Rosaleen" in tow. The first film having an Irish motif that John Ford directed, a six reel delight set in Eire's County Kildare and in the United States, with a steeplechase background, mixing charged elements of comedy and sentimental drama.

As Lord Huntington. A race between a British clipper ship and an American ship of a new design will determine the right to transport Chinese tea.

As Davis. When Marion Corsey's husband, Andrew, is conned out of a small fortune by Vivian Hepburn, she dedicates herself to recovering the money.

As Dave (uncredited). A flighty socialite neglects her family to promote a new religious group.

As Audience Member (Uncredited). Dr. Hohner, theatre physician at the Vienna Royal Theatre, murders his mistress, the star soprano when his jealousy drives him to the point of mad obsession. Ten years later, another young singer reminds Hohner of the late diva and his old mania kicks in. Hohner wants to prevent her from singing for anyone but him, even if it means silencing her forever.

As Lord Charles Vane. Thyra arrives in Chekia to wed its old and ugly king. The Duke falls in love with her. A revolution erupts and the king is assassinated. Chief revolutionary Gigberto also falls in love with Thyra. The revolutionaries plan to drown Thyra and Gigberto in a boat, but the Duke takes Gigberto's place. And the loving couple are rescued.

As Dr. Helmore. 1926 film starring Jacqueline Logan, Lou Tellegen, and Walter Pidgeon.

As Hensel. A reporter's marriage is jeopardized by his drinking and he finds himself accused of a murder he didn't commit.

As Dude Guest. The Dude Wrangler is a 1930 American western film directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Lina Basquette, Tom Keene and Clyde Cook.

As Deveney - the Butler. The story concentrates of neglectful husband Jim Murdock (Edmund Lowe) and his frustrated wife Betty (Leila Hyams). For lack of anything else to do, Betty takes up golf, soon achieving professional status. Meanwhile, Jim's doctor advises him to start playing golf as an outlet for his frustrations. Sure enough, Jim and Betty are reteamed on the links, and all is well -- for everyone except Betty's erstwhile beau Tommy Milligan (Tom Clifford)

As George Hamilton. The hectic life of a seasoned journalist, who’s busy getting out the latest edition of The San Francisco Chronicle. The director follows the editor on his rambles through the city and offers a lively account of the din of the newspaper office – all the way from collecting information to going to press and distributing the newspaper. The historical images of San Francisco are something special: we see landmark buildings like the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Building, City Hall and the Pickwick Hotel.

As Jake Leighton. Successful middle-aged manufacturer Frank Parry takes a business trip to New York, where he becomes infatuated with Eva Boutelle, manager of the Swansea Cotton Mills. For a time, their affair develops, but Eva remains true to her husband ...
