Devoted as she is to her new husband, she is not treated as a family member. In their suffocating marriage, there is no love, but rather daily routine. Repressed desire makes her turn to her stepchild, a considerate and amiable young man.

As Editorial Department Supervisor. A woman who was overwhelmed by work and had no time to imagine the future. Her paralyzed life was interrupted by a live-streaming man who always has fun in life and acts wildly, resulting in a series of fermentation processes.

As Reporter. An FBI Agent pairs with a troubled Taiwan cop to hunt for a serial killer who's embedding a mysterious fungus in the brains of victims.

As Cheating Woman. Yang Ruyi (32), a fashion magazine photographer, lives with her elder sister Yang Ruxing (33), a rational, introverted detective fiction author. Ruyi has inadvertently photographed a couple making madly passionately love. Few days later in a shopping center not far from her home, she finds the woman already married, leading a child and is with a different man. Ruyi shares her secret with Ruxing who is suffering from writer's block. The two sisters begin to observe the couple; gradually Ruxing even writes some of her observations into her novel, without letting Ruyi knows it. Late one night, Ruyi views two people are arguing, but as she picks up her camera to photograph she can only see two vague, dark outlines wrestling one another; Ruyi calls the police but upon arriving, nothing seems out of order. Ruyi is convinced she has mistaken nothing; she enlarges the photo and discovers a third outline looks pretty much like her older sister...

As Jenny. The exotic night market of Taipei is the perfect place to be if one is looking to crowd, shop, eat and game, but on this night, it's not just fun and games for those who steal things from others.

As Supervision Officer Hsia. A collection of stories connected by classic rock songs.

It opens with Cheng Fen-fen's upbeat and comedic "Share the Morning", and ends with Lee Kang-sheng running the final leg of this relay with "Remembrance" at 4am. Well-known director Tsai Ming-liang makes a rare appearance visiting a late night coffee shop. Taipei 24H is a contemporary urban chronicle of a city rarely at sleep.

As Chien Yu. Pei-xun, an early university graduate, is eager to take risks, and believes that she can play in the game of love. She soon finds out that in the adult world of love, love is not merely love - it is a war between different generations of women, and it is a war created with business and power struggles.

As Viola. A fan abducts a best-selling writer for recounting how he raped her 20 years ago in his latest book. Despite the physical and psychological ordeal, the novelist keeps claiming his innocence.
