The main event will see Kazuchika Okada defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the 2016 New Japan Cup, Tetsuya Naito. The event will air worldwide on New Japan Pro Wrestling World and will feature English commentary, provided by Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino. Invasion Attack 2016 will be the fourth event under the Invasion Attack name.
