Mercè’s Filmography

As Dancing blonde girl. Jacques Mesrine, a loyal son and dedicated soldier, is back home and living with his parents after serving in the Algerian War. Soon he is seduced by the neon glamour of sixties Paris and the easy money it presents. Mentored by Guido, Mesrine turns his back on middle class law-abiding and soon moves swiftly up the criminal ladder.

As La paya. The life of Camarón de la Isla, the legendary Spanish flamenco cantaor, from his beginning until his death; the relationships he struck up with his wife, la Chispa, and guitarists Paco de Lucía, Tomatito and Paco Cepero…

As Julia / Elena. Mario is not able to overcome the death of his wife; by chance he meets a woman almost identical to her. Marta is not able to overcome the crush she has for him; by chance she meets the opportunity to take the woman's identity.

As Lola. A Spanish writer finds an old coffer with photographs of an Argentine man who fought and died in the Spanish Civil War, and of a woman. Her quest for answers brings Vera to the Argentine Patagonia.

As Gracia. Two journalists investigate the criminal activities of the GAL (Grupos Antiterroristas de Liberación), a secret terrorist organization founded in the eighties and financed by leading figures in the Spanish government and security forces to hunt down and exterminate both members and collaborators of the terrorist gang ETA.

As Ana. Anna is a famous striptease dancer who falls for her body without shame. She is accused of theft and questioned the commissioner Lourenço, being dazzled by their strength, independence and freedom. The man will be caught by the passionate desire and the fatal attraction that she causes.

As Rosa. Is it possible to live aside of the system, thinking only about the present and oneself? A feature film about Manuel Vázquez, the best comic book author in Barcelona during the sixties, but, mainly, a man with a very particular way of living his life.

As Marta. Marriage of Vienna, theater director, and Daniel, a geriatric physician, is in crisis. Both cling to their professional activity to fill the void in their lives agonizing. Their worlds seem antagonistic, their needs, different. Account of the worst loneliness: loneliness in the company, and on promises unfulfilled desires can not be met, but it becomes a good excuse to continue living despite everything.
