Presents some nice and interesting background stories and facts but a bit tiring with the over-American USA vs Russian comparison: “this would never be the case in good old USA”. Especially since they kept most of that a good deal away from the show. Would recommend listening to this after watching the entire show as they tend to implicitly spoil future episodes

You have to listen alongside the HBO show, but a great accompanying podcast to it that explains a lot of the questions I had (like why they all have British accents...) and gives an inside look into what really happened

This podcast is seriously so good. I listen to it after the day after the show airs. It’s like I get to enjoy each episode twice!
