The Week Of
2018 . Comedy

image7

Honestly, one of Adam’s better Netflix style of films. It keeps you uncomfortable the entire movie - which seems to be the point.

Dark Waters
2019 . Drama, Thriller, History

This is a great movie. Mark Ruffalo does a wonderful job in his role.

Uncut Gems
2019 . Crime, Thriller, Drama

Way too much yelling, screaming and just annoying characters

Knives Out
2019 . Comedy, Crime, Drama, Mystery

image9

I really enjoyed this movie. I’d always seen the mass following it had on Twitter, but was truly impressed by the storyline. If you were able to foresee the outcome, props to you because it was a good one.

Game of Thrones
2011 . Action & Adventure, Drama

image9

Would’ve easily been a 10 had the last season and a half (more so the last season) been produced and written like the rest of the show had been up to that point. Throughout the show up to the final season, there were so many “Holy cow did that just happen!?” moments and I just felt like it got super predictable and unrealistic. The way that some characters survived through insurmountable odds felt like an appeasement to the masses. Still a great series.

Talking to Strangers
2019 . Malcolm Gladwell

image8

I always enjoy Gladwell’s books. That being said, I did feel as if there were some leaps taken in assuming how/why humans act the way they do. I will overlook that though because you can’t write the book without a few assumptions here or there.

The Mandela Effect
2019 . Thriller, Drama, Science Fiction

image4

Don’t waste your time on this. There are some super weird plot holes that exist. *SPOILER UPCOMING**** Like how can a computer program alter reality and change the world’s colors? Also, how could this program just be created in his garage

Annihilation
2018 . Science Fiction, Horror

image5

What a weird weird movie. Definitely have a lot of questions coming from this. Natalie Portman is a great actress, but I’m not sure this was the role for her.

The Office
2005 . Comedy

image10

Still one of the best out there. Definitely took a turn for the worse when Steve Carrell left, but I can’t knock it for that. Really enjoyable show.

I'm Sorry
2017 . Comedy

image8

I’m sad this show came to and end. Andrea Savage is incredibly likable in the show and somehow always has the wrong response to something — leading to the “I’m sorry.” It’s a show that is a lot funnier as you get older because it touches on so many things that are relatable with kids, friends, etc

Schitt's Creek
2015 . Comedy

image9

Honestly, this is one of the best easy-going TV shows that exists. The cast executes their characters so well and truly brings the viewers into the Schitt community. Highly recommend this!

The Last Dance
2020 . Documentary, Biography, History

One of the best docu-series I’ve seen. It puts Jordan on another level in my opinion. Also, the soundtrack from the series is top notch.

Doctor Sleep
2019 . Horror, Drama, Fantasy, Thriller

Interesting sequel to the horror-classic. Really enjoyed the similarities and callbacks to the old film. Also appreciated that they didn’t try to cgi force young Danny or Jack’s character
