It was my first indian movie and i am not familiar with the genre but for my taste the film was too dramatic. The acting was over the top, the shots were sooo endlessly long, the action scenes were partly pretty good but partly total garbage and also the overall length of the film was honestly too long.
But the way they portrayed the colonization of Delhi and overall India by the Britain was amazing… The hate for poc and the way they treated them was so hard to watch but that made it real, that made it feel real.
all i can say is, i watched this movie in double the speed and still think i wasted too much time on it.
Out of this whole film, there were like maximum two scenes i that were okay. The rest was just terrible.
I cannot believe how they managed to film a third one…
my opinion is pretty split up on this show.
The only thing i really loved about this show was the story around the two mothers. I loved them so much, they are such good actors and the emotions and the feelings they delivered were amazing.
I couldn’t take ANY of the teen actors serious. I don’t know if it was because of the bad german synchronization but i couldn’t stand them talking. It often felt so cringe and over dramatized.
The show was easy entertainment for me, nothing more or less.
Also like the way the show was shot, wasn’t it. The shots were boring and not really dynamic or interesting. In some scenes they didn’t even fit. So yeah technically was the show not really it.
After the third season i can confirm I’m a true fan. Yes the show is a but too much gore and brutal BUT it’s so much more than that. It deals with real world problems and the way the industry and politics are manipulating the people.
It also deals with relationships, deaths of loved ones, loss. It deals with all the problems every average human being has but it reflects that on powerful superheroes.
The show is not just disturbing or brutal or dramatic, it also is damn hilarious and funny!!!
A teen superhero show without the generic white main character.
Love the way the show revolves around the Indian culture in general and out of the perspective of a high school girl.
They let the show stand alone and not tied it too much to the MCU, except the ending and i loved it that they did it this way. Therefore we were able to get to know Kamala in a different way!
For my taste it was a bit too childish but that is matter of taste.
An oddly funny and definitely not really realistic high school teen drama. it feels kind off nostalgic and in some way totally comparable :)
The way this show deals with teen problems excuse the weird way the time works in this show.
