I thought I would love this movie but for me it ended up being pretty decent. The humour was pretty good and the characters were really fun. Yeah I had an alright time with this, not much else to say. Maybe I just went into it with too high of expectations,
I avoided this movie for a while because I heard it ruined the franchise from a few friends but it’s fun! It’s a funny film even if it’s not quite as funny as the previous 2, and I LOVE the villain so much. Great premise and all round an enjoyable watch.
There was no mention of Alex’s family in this film when that was the whole plot of the second film which seemed super weird, and also Katie Perry’s Firework is so overused in films. Other than that, I liked it!
This movie is cute!! I just like it. It has funny moments and is an enjoyable watch. I love Chuck’s character so much, I’m a die hard fan for the silly funny fast sonic-esque characters and for him to be voiced by Josh Gadd is such a bonus.
I was pleasantly surprised to realise, during her final line in the movie, that Rachel Bloom voiced Silver.
This movie has too many things going against it for me to rank it above a 6 (e.g they played baby shark which lowered my life expectancy and I did not remotely care for the kid birds subplot) but I don’t really mind. It’s a film that doesn’t take itself too seriously and I really respect that.
This movie was incredibly okay. Like, it was fine? Borderline boring unless the 2 villain legends (Chester and ape) were on screen. Like, they seriously did these two characters justice, but I can’t say much for the rest of the characters.
I wish the movie focused more on Flint’s relationship with his dad; you only get a whiff of it at the end of the movie which is kind of cute but felt undeveloped. Amazing premise, underwhelming execution. And for me, few jokes landed. But again, it was fine. Truly average.
This anime was my gateway for a 2 year obsession with the franchise. I don’t think it’s fair to compare it too much to the game; the game is better because it has more time to be. Given the short amount of episodes, this is a well condensed anime. The outro is probably my favourite anime outro too.
Okay I barely remember any of this anime BUT it was my first ever anime back in like 2013 so I wanted to review it. I still find myself going back to the anime’s opening song over 10 years later; it is SO good.
From what I remember, the characters were really likeable and it got quite dark at points considering it has a ‘magical girl’ premise. I’ll always have a soft spot for this anime, even if I can’t remember any of their names.
I was so upset one episode where a side character got upset about relapsing and then I didn’t touch the show for a year. It just was so sad man. I’m slowly starting to tackle season 2 but now I can’t remember what happened in season 1 but I can’t rewatch season 1 because I don’t want to get upset again. Life is tough
Elite podcast. My favourite podcast. Just a brilliant podcast.
I’m biased because Garrett and Andrew are my favourite content creators, but it’s really nice to have a super funny podcast that also doesn’t mind getting serious and deep. Sweet Boys is especially important to me because they released the episodes during lockdown and it made dealing with the COVID-19 world so much more manageable.
If I had to describe the podcast to someone in a word, I’d just say it’s very human.
I thought this movie was really boring, and I saw it in the CINEMA, so that really says a lot. Many of Buzz’s decisions seemed too silly to make him an authentic character in my eyes. The crew team were more annoying than entertaining. Each to their own, but this film really did not do it for me.
There were definitely good elements to this movie. Sox was a really likeable character and the animation was fantastic.
