The common refrain about gifted chef Rosio Sanchez’s Vesterbro cantina is that it serves some of the best Mexican food, not just in Copenhagen but in the world. That might seem like hyperbole, but try to argue with the assessment when you’re at brunch, devouring a breakfast taco that Angelenos would gladly wait hours to sample. Dinner is even more memorable, with octopus al pastor tostadas and “dirty” carnitas with grilled Brigante cheese. Note: The chef’s two taquerias, Hija de Sanchez, should also be on your radar. [$$]
