Based off a book of the same name & author who gave us Gone Girl - Amy Adams continues to excel in demonstrating her acting versatility - SO is a dark familial drama within the subsequent murders our protagonist is sent to investigate - In her sleepy hometown of wind gap Missouri - the pace is often slow with the voyeur coming to the conclusion often before it has visualised on screen - essential watching
