It gave what it’s supposed to give. It was giving and then some. It shined the light and paved the way. Touché

Starts with a bang - introduces you to an interesting New York underground and puts forward some great character arcs and dynamics. But loses steam after a few episodes, mostly due to some poor acting (here’s looking at you, Elekra) and justifiable-but-distracting social commentary. It lasted three seasons, so maybe it’s just getting over the initial hump, but the acting and writing were too mealy to stick with.

The quality has gone down but they know when to end these things. Gonna miss the characters nonetheless!

Pose is a fictional historical narrative of a community who’s voice & existence is finally been acknowledged in the mainstream- as we know Art has the power to change opinions - Hopefully Pose can do that - brilliantly cast, exceptionally written - storylines that will make you laugh, cry & also get angry at the injustice - season 1 I feel just treaded water to test opinion so by season 2/3 the writing / plot has ramped up engaging the voyeur with these characters & their lives - essential viewing

An amazing series with an even more amazing storyline and so many important messages. In my view, it is a series that MUST be seen - it is simply amazing and relevant.

The 80s set, the music, the direction, the costumes, the actors, Indya Moore is great, Billy Porter is genial, Dominique Jackson is stunning! The script is smart, emotional and touching! The ball culture and the LGBTQ world are the perfect themes to speak about aloud now! Amazing! 💜
