I just finished this absolutely amazing series in one sitting. Its only 8 episodes with about 25 minuets per one, but OH MY GOD, what an impact those 8 made. (Very similar reaction to Young Royals too).

Best teenage series ever! It’s so lovely and wholesome I’m in love with it, t’s not too cringey or overdramatic. I had read the graphic novels before so I had high expectations. Alice Oseman is a goddess for creating the world of Heartstopper. The casting is amazing because they’re all beautiful and great actors who are actually adolescents. All the love to Joe, Kit, Yaz, Will, Kizzy, Bash, Cori, and the amazing Olivia Colman.

I wasn’t expecting that much. But this was simple, touching, relatable and at the same time incredibly origina. I needed something like that that was LGBT + high school

Sinto que tentaram com esta série não ser problemáticos, o que acabou por dar a sensação de algo bastante infantil. O acting é muito mau - semelhante ao da Bella de Twilight. No entanto, algo me fez acabar a temporada. Consegue ser bastante constrangedora e super estereotipada.

Beautiful story, great representation of all orientations. Love the characters, very well represented. Moments that make you go awww and moments where you literally wanna punch some of the characters through the screen.

📣 Top user review: I definitely didn't watch the trailers I just watched it when it came out and it was PERFECT. The way it talks about deep stuff and the struggles of coming out and not being sure of what you are. That was greatly written. The Main leads have so much chemistry because I was cheering and giggling everytime they're on screen. The side characters are great except maybe for Isaac because he's just there. It's a light wholesome show for most of the time and a very good love story.

Despite having some irritating cliché moments and predictable plot lines, “Heartstopper” succeeds in its story’s ability to generate candy sweet chemistry between each of its characters. In fact, many of the actors make their on-screen debut for the first time, including the show’s main players Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Toni’s Donovan, and Kizzy Edgell. All give great performances, despite some characters being abhorrently annoying as heck (I’m sorry but I could barely handle Tao… was I supposed to like him or hate him?). This Netflix original offers a great abundance of cute, lovesome moments, especially between the couples. If you’re looking for something wholly heart-warming on your next television-binge, then look no further! 🍂

Hacía tiempo ya de que una serie me hiciera sentir tan bonito como esta. Más historias LGBT con finales bonitos. Más adaptaciones de libros así de perfectas. Amamos.

I needed this show. As someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community I needed to see an innocent, heartwarming representation of what it is to discover your sexuality and to fall for someone for the first time!

Openly gay Charlie (Kit Connor) and rugby player Nick (Joe Locke) becomes friends at a British high school in this adaptation of Alice Oseman's graphic novel of the same name.

I loved everything about this. As a big fan of the graphic novels this was everything I could have hoped and brought the story to life so beautifully and delicately and with all of the heart and warmth and queer joy of Oseman’s original story. The best!
