Interesting watch they show the good the bad and the ugly of jimmy savile. I’m not sure how accurate or factual this was but as I say interesting anyway. I enjoyed Louis Theroux’s documentary about it better

Soooooo…. Before watching this I thought jimmy was a raging pedo! But after watching… ..I’m not 100% convinced! 🙈 believe me I’m against pedos and think they should get the death penalty! But this ‘a British horror story’ was far from horrific! The 1st part was glorifying jimmy, his work and showing how the women flocked to him! They wanted kisses! They wanted hugs etc etc and would jump on him to get them! The 2nd part then turns into these women deciding actually now 30-40 years later it was wrong!.. but wait you threw yourself at him and now your saying he shouldn’t have allowed it to happen so it’s his fault! There was a couple of stories of children in a church that he’d abused, but out of the millions he had helped why choose these couple? And why had all the investigations found there to be no other accounts or witnesses? The other stories was of people saying I heard, I knew, I thought it was weird, he had his hand in a girls knee but I didn’t know her.. there wasn’t accounts of it was me or my kid etc Then once he died the flood gates opened and more reports of abuse came out.. but are they true? We will never know! I was hoping this would show me that jimmy was 100% a dirty pedo and it’s good he’s dead but instead it’s made me unsure what’s true and what’s not! Watch it see what you think but be warned the final part has a graphic description and it’s hard to listen to. I just want to finish by saying I’d never defend a pedo and I’m not saying he is innocent but if I was in a jury and I was given part 1 and part 2 as the arguments for him being one I’d be on the fence, which is either very scary because he’s managed to hide his true intentions behind this man of the people or it’s because he is actually innocent!

Another Netflix true crime shockumentary with enough carefully manipulated archival footage to make for an engaging exposé. Copies of Savile's Benjamin Rabbit and The Stranger Danger can probably still be found on the dusty shelves of more unattended children's libraries. Not surprising that Jimmy had the full endorsement of those arbiters of good faith and sound judgment, the Royal "Family."

A true horror story spanning years and years. Jim fooled everyone, and after seeing so much raw footage of Saville in the movie 🎥 , it leaves you really thinking just how did he get away with it for so long🤔. It is such a haunting tale 😞.

This is a fascinating insight into how this depraved individual fooled everyone. Thankfully it’s not particularly graphic as I couldn’t watch anything like that. But my word what an evil individual, certainly an interesting watch

Good for the documentary being made and exposing this absolute scum bag of a human. I just wish the authorities had done something about all the accusations before he passed away.

Truly a monster. The documentary is in 2 long parts: it shows the public philanthropic face and then the horrible crimes. It’s slower but necessary to understand how he could get away with so so so much.
