Update: have finally gotten past episode 3, and the show actually starts making sense, revealing a very satisfying plot. There are several nuanced references to past Marvel movies, so I don’t think it would be enjoyable as a standalone series. Overall it’s a great concept, but I think the end is a bit rushed (that’s why a 7 and not an 8) I had to drop this mid-episode 3. May resume after there are more episodes to understand what the point is

Yes! I have finally just finished and totally agree with some of the Friendspire community that the first 3 episodes are very slow and grounding. The first 2 just don’t make sense quick enough and I found myself a little distracted through most of it. It definitely does get better after that and rewards you more and more as the series moves on with POST AVENGERS ENDGAME Goodies! Which to be honest we were all eagerly wanting and waiting for! Onto the falcon and the winter soldier now 🦸‍♂️ 🦸‍♀️! Grab the 🍿!!!

The comedy is not funny, the screenplay is written poorly, the cinematography is actually ok I guess, the pacing is wannabe scorsese, the dialogue is weak af and its just bad.. I can't exaggerate enough how unfunny this is. I can already teel the edgy, querky fangirls of tik tok are gonna wet over these reviews but it's just bad.

Waited a while before rating; now it's time. I LOVE it. Gosh so much more than I expected to. A lot more. It wonderfully captures the essence of many TV shows with so many great nods to some favourites. Great for a TV lover. I think you enjoy the show so much more if you recognise the references. So many Easter eggs, it's fun to look out for them. Definitely glad I watched through all Marvel films before this. I think you can watch without full knowledge but definitely helps! Olsen is great! Love to see her act more. Quite fun having different character styles to play. Kathryn Hahn does such a great job too as the neighbour. She is brilliant, really glad she has a main role. Though some of her roles are better and more natural than others. Personally preferred when the show wasn't super action Marvel-y (ep 8) but hey oh. Really interesting trying to figure things out and wondering what's going on. Had a few 'whaaaaaat' moments 😅 looking forward to seeing where this goes. Probably so many more eager eggs and details I don't pick up on, which is interesting. Spoiler thought Love how flash back to Wandas parents shows DVDs of the shows they've been referencing from Wanda's mind. So interesting each episode going through different decades. Fun to see her character development more too and show her past. Loved how they brought Pietro back as the actor from x-men not marvel and how certain details could be gotten away with since the odd circumstances. Plot twist of another witch being around too the whole time? So many details ha love it. Also normally hate things coming out weekly because I forget so quick but actually like it here. Exciting and better not binged.

I really like the direction it went in and how creative it was with its concept but towards the end it falls short in some areas but other than that its great.

Fun show! It was a little slow at the start, wasn’t sure where it was going but totally glad I hung around. That “buildup” is important and actually what ended up making the show great so def hang in there! 😂

Part loving homage to TV history, part off-kilter mystery, WandaVision is a wonderfully weird and strikingly bold step into the small screen for the MCU - and a perfect showcase for Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

Honestly, TV has never seen something like WandaVision before. It is fun, complex, creative, crazy and attaches itself in a universe without making it feel forced. Brilliant!

The first couple of episodes were just bad.. Until you get the context and then they were ok-ish. However the rest of the show is phenomenal! Keep it coming Marvel!

I'm really enjoying this extension of Marvel! Keeps you guessing and it sounds like the plot is going to tie in to the films released later this year, which I love!

Damn… let me tell you this show fooled me for the goods. For the first two episodes i was so damn confused and then the forth episode started and it all began to make sense. Such a great show, for real!!! Also all the easter eggs and references to those old sit comes, so iconic! 9/10 (bc of the first two episodes lol)

Novel concept that spends several episodes paying homage to the history of American sitcoms before settling into the familiar Marvel CGI-superhero fest. Takes a bit to uncork itself, but that’s the fun of it. If you don’t follow the genre, you’ll probably be lost pretty quickly.

This is the best. Just keep watching. You won't regret it. Kevin Feige and Marvel are amazing Loved the concept of limited series in the marvel universe. Allowed much better character development. Could see this replacing some of the movies in the MCU in the future for sure. Don't want to spoil too much but let's just say that it is amazing that Wanda finally got a proper origin story!

Something so unique that has come from Disney plus is the different way to tell a story that isn’t limited to a 2 hour time frame. WandaVision is a wonderful example of what can be done with storytelling (when given the right budget) for tv media when it’s not forced into 30-60 minute chunks with ad time. Episodes have great pace, and I’m always left looking forward to the next week’s episode.

I wasn’t big on this one. If you can make it through the first couple of episodes it does get better. Didn’t really need to see it for Dr Strange 2. I think it left more questions unanswered than it answered.

Wanda Vision is a breeze of fresh air in action packed MCU flicks. And this being a TV series is definitely a new direction for Marvel to explore lesser known characters and storylines. I really loved this series, definitely binge worthy. Undoubtedly this series helped Scarlett Witch's character development. The first two episodes were definitely a new format for me altogether, I honestly didn't know how to take that but I enjoyed the show as it progressed. This film is heavily tied with rest of the MCU, I wouldn't recommend it for a non MCU fan.

i loved the Truman show vibe, that movie is amazing and so is this show, i loved how they explored more Wanda's past and her powers, she is just way too strong and that's really exciting honestly, makes me wonder about what are they going to use all this power for. Also, seeing vision again was fun, I feel like he finally had the amount of screentime he deserved. also the name wandavision is GENIUS

Possibly the greatest marvel original to come from the Disney+ era. As great as the films are there is so much more to look at in the mini series format

It has a slow starting and sad ending and some script bugs like difrence between the story about Wanda's past that we watched in the "WandaVision" and "Avengers:age of ultrum" but you gonna enjoy it . It has great storyline .if you are a super hero movies fan you defenitly gonna enjoy it.

I was there when episodes were premiering every week from January to March. Ahh, good times. WandaVision is an extraordinary work that exceeded most expectations and proved to many that Marvel Studios can both dominate the big and small screens of the world. The ensemble’s hilarious and tear-jerking performances are bewitching through this limited series, and the visual effects must not be missed.

Loved loved loved it. I am not a fan of Marvel, never have been. I just haven’t been able to get into the movies. However, this series changed my mind. It was well done and interesting, with a new twist every episode. I did not want it to end. Well done Marvel!

I don’t think it’s a show I would watch again like the Marvel movies although it was very surprising. Something I really loved was the “recast” of Quicksilver.
